I also love your “outing” of celebrity Tequila. It’s been a gimmick since day 1 and I hope your prediction is correct!

I’m very with you on Armagnac & Spain. I have loved Armagnac for 25 years and while it will mean rising prices I’m happy to see it get recognition (and I have plenty of personal stock!). My Armagnac of the year was a 1923 Laberdolive that was bottled in 2021. Absolutely sublime! As for Spain & Jerez in particular I am more into the old, traditional style. While from Jerez but not Sherry (it is wine) I love aged PX and we recently opened our bottle of 1929 Toro Albala PX that was aged in barrel until 2012 when it was bottled. Beyond words. Sweet but balanced. Truly incredible bottles!

Oh no! I thought your 2023 list was the 2024 list. I’m really out now!

I’m not giving up my Beaujolais Villages, I’m delighted that my Sancerre is now in as is my other loire faves: Saumur, and Vovray and..

As for Caesar Salad until someone makes a real Caesar salad, table side in a restaurant or a home , it’s not a Caesar salad. And Caesar Salads are not made with kale, 🥬

Firstly, I don't think Italy or Italian wine and spirits are going anywhere any time soon. The whole Tequila craze seems to be dying down, but is the Ginaissance going anywhere? Rose isn't going anywhere but up; the other trends I think only time will tell.

It's a great wine list, hopefully I will come across some of them sooner or later. Cheers!
