Thanks for this very interesting article. I’ve had many of Alvear’s sweet PX, but never the dry version. That will have to change! My favorite sweet PX is a 1929 Toro Albala that was first taken from cask to bottle in 2014!

Having livid in Spain a couple of years, I took my family back in 2015 and went to Cordoba for the first time. My favorite discovery was berenjenas con miel (fried eggplant with a drizzle of honey on it). Delicious. And I got to explore some some wines, but never knew there was a fino style. Can't believe I missed that. Thanks for pointing it out!
