I've always thought that 1 liter wine bottles make perfect sense, as sometimes 750ml is not enough. But with a magnum unless it's a big party is too much for 2-3 people to finish. I've seen them (1 liter bottles) when on holiday, back home in Germany, but they don't seem to have made it out to Asia just yet.
