I don't know what it is genetically but it's delicious, maybe I prefer it over Nebbiolo from Italy. There I said it. I love it because it's less delicate and more "fuerte". It leans into darker fruits. Whatever it is it's our favorite Mexican variety. I just bought another bottle yesterday.

Yes I agree it’s just different! And it can also be a little salty in that dry soil!
